Role: Databricks Project Manager
Location: Dubai
Duration:  6 months

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Apply your experience with the software development life cycle models, Agile, and traditional project management principles/practices, blending them together in the right proportions to achieve results.
  • Build and coordinate all aspects of a program, including detailed project plans, resource allocations, risks/issues remediation, status reporting, and budget management.
  • Serve as the primary “go-to” person for project details.
  • Maintain a deep, technical end-to-end understanding of the solution being built, including its upstream/downstream dependencies and impacts.
  • Identify risks in all assigned areas and work with teams and management to mitigate these risks before they become issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good knowledge of Databricks and Azure environment/infrastructure.
  • Understanding of cloud services, application hosting, operational practices, and technical planning.
  • Experience modulating the presentation of information based on your audience.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies and an Agile certification (PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading design and technical trade-off conversations to closure.
  • Proficient with applications such as Jira or other backlog management tools and project management tools.
