Role: Marketing Digital Analyst

Job Purpose
The Marketing Digital Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the capture, analysis, and
dissemination of marketing and user experience data to enable teams across The Company to
make real-time, data-driven decisions. This role involves working closely with Strategic
Planners, Customer Insights, and Customer Strategy & Retention to identify data capture
requirements and, along with inputs from relevant teams across the department, design and
implement analytics solutions.
In This Role You Will:
– Understand Requirements: Understand tracking, measurement, and reporting requirements
across teams.
– Support Teams: Provide proper tagging and tracking, develop guidelines and frameworks, and
ensure the correct setup by agencies, third parties, and internal teams. Define and implement
marketing taxonomy to ensure accurate data tracking.
– Collaboration: Work closely with third parties, partners, suppliers, technology platforms, and
others to source data on the performance of campaigns and programs.
– KPI Tracking: Ensure KPIs relevant to the teams can be tracked and measured for in-flight
optimization, post-campaign analysis, and strategy development for new campaigns/programs.
– Measurement Development: Collaborate with teams to understand and develop
measurement KPIs, set up tracking and measurement, and document measurement
frameworks, KPI development, and reporting inputs for reference by all teams as needed.
– Automated Reporting: Build automated dashboards, reports, and scorecards for self-service
use across the department. Train and support teams in understanding and utilizing the reports
for data-backed investment and marketing planning decisions.
– Campaign Support: Provide relevant data to Strategic Planners to support campaign planning
and in-flight optimization.
– Predictive Models: Develop predictive and forecasting models to support marketing planning
and investment decisions across regions and channels.
-Testing & Analysis: Facilitate A/B testing, multivariate tests, and impact analysis on product
releases
through proper analytics setup, tracking, and reporting to inform data-driven decisions and
successive iterations as needed.
– Data Quality: Monitor data quality, raise any quality issues with the appropriate teams or
externally to the vendors, document and track these requests, and update impacted teams
along the process.
– Compliance: Maintain compliance with the company's privacy principles and work with the
Data Privacy Network Liaison to ensure the privacy and security of personal data are considered
by design and default in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
-Education: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) preferably in Engineering, Digital
Marketing, E-Commerce, or equivalent. Google Analytics Certification highly desired.
– Experience: 5 years of experience in digital marketing analytics in a global organization, with
web, product, or UX analytics.
– Skills:
– Advanced knowledge of UX analytics platforms such as heat and scroll mapping tools and
web tracking and reporting tools.
– Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics tracking and reporting, including conversion
tracking, goals, segmentations, and third-party tools.
– Intermediate query writing skills and knowledge of SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Cloud
Platform, etc.
– Intermediate understanding of different BI tools like MicroStrategy and Tableau.
– Basic understanding of performance-driven digital marketing channels like paid search,
affiliate marketing, email marketing, display marketing, etc.
– Basic knowledge of advanced marketing analytics concepts like multi-touch attribution,
cross-device journeys, visitor cohorts, etc.
