Role: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: 6-Month Extendable Contract (Marc Ellis Pay roll)

Are you an experienced software engineer with expertise in application development and technical support? We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join a dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. If you thrive in a challenging environment and have a passion for innovative solutions, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional and technical support for Newgen applications such as iBPS, Omniflow, and Omnidocs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Newgen suite (Omniflow 10.x, iBPS 5.x, BAM, IPS 8.x).
• Offer technical consultation and programming support for applications and operations.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, and SMEs to gather requirements and coordinate production releases.
• Develop, maintain, and automate Newgen applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Implement and support standardized business processes for efficient project delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 9+ years in application development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, J2EE, MSSQL, HTML, CSS, web servers, and application servers. Familiarity with Docker, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Newgen Expertise: Strong knowledge of Newgen product applications, data models, and technical setup.
• Development Tools: Eclipse, STS, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, MAVEN, and CI/CD tools.
• Web Development: React, Next JS, Angular, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Databases: Expertise in Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, or Postgres.
• Methodologies: Experience in Agile development and DevOps practices.
