Job Description: Informatica Data Engineer           

Location: Dubai, UAE

Contract Type: 6 Months Extendable Contract (Marc Ellis Pay roll)

We’re Hiring: Informatica Data Engineer (Onshore/Offshore – Dubai)

Are you an experienced Informatica Data Engineer with a passion for building efficient data pipelines in Informatica DEI and Azure Cloud? We’re looking for skilled professionals to join our client’s dynamic Data Engineering team to design and develop robust ETL solutions and Big Data processes.

🚀 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data pipelines using Informatica DEI and Azure Cloud Data Lake.
• Create efficient ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data in the Hadoop Big Data ecosystem.
• Develop mappings, workflows, and applications in Informatica DEI and deploy them post-business sign-offs.
• Debug and resolve production issues post-deployment.
• Write and troubleshoot Unix shell scripts to support existing and new workflows.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, Data Architects, Business Analysts, and Production Support teams.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance by implementing audits and checks.
• Document workflows, configurations, and customizations for handovers.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills:

🎯 Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Informatica DEI in Hadoop and Big Data environments.
• Strong experience designing and developing data pipelines in Azure Cloud (Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Streaming Analytics).
• Proficiency in Unix scripting for writing and troubleshooting shell scripts.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for writing and tuning complex queries in RDBMS/Hive.
• Understanding of Informatica components, services, and connectors.
• Experience with at least one programming language like Python or Scala.

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in the Financial and Banking domain.

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
