Job Title: Technical Project Consultant
Duration: 12 months Extendable
Location: Abu Dhabi
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the implementation of an enterprise-level Physical Access Control System (AMAG-Symmetry). The ideal candidate will be responsible for harmonizing resources, timelines, and project objectives to ensure the successful delivery of the system, leveraging expertise in Windows clustering, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.
This role will require strong project planning, vendor management, and technical oversight, as well as the ability to coordinate internal and external teams. A deep understanding of security systems, IT change management, and system hardening is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop RFP documentation and manage vendor sourcing processes.
- Ensure timely delivery, effective scope management, and optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and security hardening processes.
- Lead the design and implementation of the AMAG Physical Access System with high availability and disaster recovery using Windows clustering.
- Conduct risk assessments in collaboration with the CISO team and maintain a risk register.
- Drive IT change management processes for the physical access project.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with a strong IT background, particularly in Windows clustering.
- Certification in PMP or Prince2 project management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing enterprise-level physical access control systems, preferably AMAG-Symmetry.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
