Position: BA Tester
Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract: 12 Months Extendable
Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst / Tester will be responsible for gathering requirements and ensuring quality assurance during the implementation of the Billing and Pricing system in the Bank. This role involves working as part of a delivery team to document detailed requirements through user journeys and user stories by engaging with business SMEs, developers, and the product owner. The BA/Tester will also develop a User Acceptance Test (UAT) strategy, create test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements, execute the test cases, and communicate the results to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Key Accountabilities:
Define requirements and perform quality assurance for the Billing and Pricing system with objectives to:
Collaborate within an agile team to deliver high-quality business requirements and solutions.
Engage with SMEs, end users, and vendors to identify, document, and validate requirements based on user journeys and user stories.
Prioritize and shape the product backlog with the business SMEs and product owners.
Produce test scenarios, scripts, and UAT documentation, and identify and extract custom data for testing.
Execute UAT based on previously defined and approved business requirements or user stories.
Collect and report all test results, and provide necessary information for informed decision-making.
Highlight key issues and concerns related to product sign-off post-testing phase.
Validate existing 'to be' processes during UAT execution and update business processes as needed.
Analyze and interpret business requirements and, if necessary, gather additional information from Business Analysts and Business Systems Analysts.
Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration/Release Planning, Showcases/Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional areas for the assigned Scrum team.
