Role: Senior Devops Engineer

Location: Saudi Arabia  

Job Type: Perm  

Task and Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing fully equipped cloud native environments including virtual machines, application services, databases, networks, VPN access, storage, Azure AD, and other cloud services.

• Securing the cloud environments in terms of network security, IAM, and application security.

• Implementing secure architecture, enforcing compliance, practicing due diligence, monitoring the network, and incorporating solid authentication protocols.

• Supporting application developers automate and speed up testing, release, and deployment into runtime environments.

• Performing cost optimization activities on Azure cloud to make sure the systems have enough resources with the best value

• Experience with scripting installation, configuration, and provisioning in Ruby, Python, Java, C#, or another high-level language is preferred.

• Experience providing Azure cloud-based CI/CD solutions and have experience with the core cloud provider management tools.

Skills and Experience Required

• Microsoft Azure certificate (preferred).

• Experience deploying and maintaining high-performance production environments using techniques like vertical, horizontal scaling, implementing caching systems, database clustering, etc.

• An advanced degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

• 5+ years designing large, complex IT operations in large organizations

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will coach team members. Thus, the ideal candidate must be able to clearly explain complex solutions and lead and teach junior staff.
